SILENT CRIES

Women from all walks of life have Silent Cries. We are mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, aunties, grannies, companions. We are everything to everyone. Who is there for us? We have lost track of who we are, we have lost track of who we used to be. We do not know how to RESET our lives. Despite relationship Silent Cries, Financial Silent Cries, Health and wellbeing Silent Cries etc we still show up. Sadly some women give up along the way. Most of the time, we embody a perfect being. Heavy make up, hair on point but when the lights go off, make up washed off, reality hits and tears begins to roll.

WHAT ARE YOUR SILENT CRIES

If not addressed, Silent Cries can be the most dangerous. Silent Cries will overwhelm you and slowly eat you alive. In this book, I share my life journey of a decade of Silent suffering. It was not easy. I often wonder, how many other women or men for that matter are Silently going through similar ordeal. True life is a journey. The degree of difficulties in every journey that we walk will not be the same. Some journeys would be difficult, and some would be easier. There will be times in life when you are challenged physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is during these times that you must push yourself beyond the limit. When you fail at something, you try again. Giving in must never be an option.

The real question is, how do you respond to challenges that life throws at you? What are you going to do about your situation? Whatever situation it is. Perhaps like me, you were told there is no cure, or maybe you were retrenched from your job, or have lost a loved one, going through a divorce, trying to lose weight, etc. Whatever the situation, it does get better eventually if you are willing to put in the work, trust the process, allow yourself to heal, moan, and grind. This piece of my life puzzle has taught me the value of perseverance, hope, belief, and self-love. It has taught me that there are no shortcuts in life.

This experience is a piece of my life puzzle. I often say that my life is a piece of a puzzle, and each and every one of these pieces tells a story, contributes, and completes my purpose-driven life journey. They make my life worth living. It is true the saying, “Your deepest struggles can, if willing and open, produce your greatest strength.

To the reader, as you navigate through your Silent Cries, always remember that, challenges builds character, challenges makes us grow. Never ask for challenges to go away, rather ask for the wisdom and knowledge to navigate through life challenges.
